Hi, Some people think that Line Dance is all about hats and boots and dare I say it - slapping leather and the odd "YeHaa". There are lots  places where that is the case . However there is much more to Line dancing  than that. At Jetsets we are not limited to country and western music and cowboy gear. We do have a good time, learn the latest dances (there are so many to do!), but , we play all types of music - country, pop, nightclub,  Irish, Rock & Roll, Latin etc. etc.  Current popular dance tracks are 'Humans' - the Killers- 'Moonlight Kiss 'Raul Malo (of the Mavericks ) and so on.

You don't need western gear to fit in !.

Wear what you like and come to one of our classes and see for yourself. But beware - its addictive!

Beginners get taught the basics but once your hooked you'll want to do more!

Allestree is suitable for experienced dancers

AGE: No limits within reason -  - but remember this is a  physical activity and you must be able to follow Jane's instructions - All children must be accompanied at all times by a parent or guardian. We will refuse anyone admission to the dance floor if we feel there is a risk to them or other dancers.

FOOTWEAR: (PLEASE For footwear just wear ordinary flattish shoes,  dance shoes, cowboy boots if you want to or now you can get Dance trainers. You can try ordinary trainers but many people find they don't let you turn properly . PLEASE no open sandals - (lest you get stood on by someone wearing their boots or dance shoes!)
